One thing that I have found annoying when hiring contractors, is when they over promise and promptly under achieve.  With J R Construction, the opposite was true.  I hired J R Construction (Josh) to do an energy inspection, install linked smoke/co2 detectors and have an HVAC system installed.  Josh was very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect.  Even the subcontractors he hired were polite, clean and prompt (I mention clean, because oddly enough, that has not been my experience thus far).  Not only did he give me a great price, but the project was finished three weeks before the estimated time of completion.  It was hands down, the best contractor experience I have had.  If I had further needs that J R Construction could handle, I'm not calling anyone else. Read more on yelp
